Blazing new trails

Recently I began a new chapter in my blogging life.  You may have noticed my days of posting multiple times a day are now few and far between, in fact, you’ve been lucky to get a few posts a week from me.  Now, this isn’t one of those posts where I apologize about that fact.  This is one of those posts where I finally share with you what has taken my attention away from What’s That Smell?

You may be familiar with MomDot.com, or at least the blog that used to be hosted at MomDot.com.  That blog has a new address and MomDot.com has a new face and a renewed purpose – community.  I have been a part of the forum community at MomDot since it’s inception and at one point had been invited to take my relationship there to the next level.  I finally took them up on it!

I am now a part of the admin team making it an even four over at MomDot and I helped setup and design the brand new look!  I will be responsible for the technology end of things, keeping the site running smoothly and helping bring new and better features.  Basically I am the one who gets blamed if things go wrong (which is pretty much true in all aspects of my world).  I am also responsible for the sarcasm.  Everyone needs a little sarcasm in their life.

I am very excited to join the team of mom blogger over there.  I look forward to growing with and helping grow the new community and I am confident it will continue to be a huge success.

If you are a mom, a blogger, or any combination of those things I encourage you to stop by and visit the new and improved MomDot.  We encourage you to contribute your articles, your videos and your photos and connect, share and grow as a mom blogger (or a dad-blogger, or a not-yet-a-mom-blogger or WHATEVER).  Community is the focus and you will find there is no nicer, more generous, more caring and more helpful group of women than those over at MomDot.com.

   wow what a wonderful opportunity. Will you be continiung this blog or will you just slow down on the posts?
