(ended) Because it’s Christmas 2: Build-A-Bear (prize group 3 giveaway)

Build-A-Bear Workshop never ceases to amaze me with the fun and furry friends they come up with, and all the accessories they have available to dress them up in.  Kids love and need a special friend that is all their own and Build-A-Bear makes quality and unique toys that can provide so much more than fun for a child.  Who knows to what extent these bears and stuffed critters will provide comfort and security for a child whether at night, or times of sadness.

This is especially important this time of year for needy children.  These kids have it extra difficult and deserve a special friend.  And knowing that Build-A-Bear has helped us so much this year by providing bears for needy kids for our charities has extra special meaning for me.  Sure these toys will help a family give their kids a brighter Christmas, but a Build-A-Bear can go beyond that and become a source of trust and comfort for these kids throughout the year.

And that is a very special gift.

Build-A-Bear is a huge supporter of our Because It’s Christmas Kids & Charity event this year!

For the third prize group, our age 6 boy group, Build-A-Bear is providing a wonderful Christmas friend, Winter Adventure Hal Moose!

Get them in the holiday spirit when you send this cuddly stuffed moose gift. Hal Moose™ is wearing a gray camouflage jacket with a sherpa collar, white crew neck tee, dark denim jeans, black boots and snow goggles.

Hals antlers are SO NEAT, they light up when you squeeze his paw and he is soft and just a very cool stuffed friend.

Build-A-Bear Workshop has generously provided a Hal Moose for our giveaway, but also has provided one that is being donated to the Household Pantry at the First United Methodist Church in Lowell, IN. As I mentioned previously in our intro post, the Household Pantry is a unique organization in that it does more than provide food for families. And this year thanks to Build-A-Bear they will receive one of these fabulous stuffed moose to help brighten a needy child’s Christmas.

Note: because we had a couple of last minute additions when we started the giveaways, we are extending the contest a couple of days through Friday December 4, 2009 at noon CST to give everyone time to enter the final giveaways.  We will try and pull the winners on Friday and contact them that afternoon.

Entries for all the prizes in each age group will be combined to pull a single winner for each prize group. Winners will be selected from all eligible entries using Random.org. Winners will be contacted via email but must respond within 48 hours.
