Because It’s Christmas – Group 3 gift unwrapped – Drift Cars Street Team from Creativity for Kids (Faber-Castell) GIVEAWAY

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED AND COMMENTS ARE NOW CLOSED

Faber-CastellBecause It's ChristmasThe next gift we are unwrapping in our Kids & Charity Giveaway is a Drift Cars Street Team activity set from Creativity for Kids (Faber-Castell). Creativity for Kids is giving away one Drift Cars Street Team activity set to one of YOU and they are also donating one Drift Cars Street Team activity set to charity to the Household Pantry at the First United Methodist Church in Lowell, IN.

When we were looking for sponsors for our Because It’s Christmas Kids & Charity Giveaway, Faber-Castell was a natural fit because of their craft and activity kits that are part of their Creativity for Kids line help to encourage and expand a child’s imagination in a hands-on way.

Drift Cars Street TeamThe Drift Cars Street Team activity set is a craft kit that that comes with 6 different drift / stunt cars that your child can customize using different color paints and metallic sticker decals. The cars themselves are “pull-and-go” which means they require no batteries and once they have left your child’s “body shop” and are completely customized to their liking, they can take them on to any smooth surface, pull them back, and watch them go! The cars will drift, spin and race across the room.

Each car measures roughly 1.75″ high x 2″ wide x 3.5″ long and each one is unique and different. The kit also comes with acrylic paints, metallic stickers and a paint brush; all the supplies you need for your child to customize their own stunt cars. The body of the cars is pre-painted with the basic car colors and the chrome and glass accents. The paint and the decals are for customizing the cars beyond the basic plain color.

drift carsJake has easily no less than 200 die-cast metal cars in a container in his room. They are all different (so he says, they all look the same to me) and some even do some cool stunt type things. But none of them are ones that he helped design and decorate. With the Drift Cars Street Team set, he can put his own personal touch on the cars and really make them his. He can take his hours of time reading Car and Driver (yes, he actually has a subscription) and playing with his other cars and dreaming of the “coolest & fastest” cars and actually design something of his very own.

The age range on this set is 5 years and up, actually it reads: ages 5-95, and I admit that I want to paint and decorate one of these cars. I am really excited by the potential of this great kit, both for expanding his creativity, but also because once they are painted he can play with them time and time again with the pride that he had something to do with how “cool” they look!
