Baby feet and other little things…

baby feet

How can anyone resist baby toes?

How can tiny naked feet by so smelly?…PU!!!!

Abby took a nap over 3 hours this afternoon. I did absolutely nothing. Think of all the things I could have gotten done and didn’t! All I did was watch the news and read an article about life insurance rates. Now that she is seriously mobile, I needed to rest to recharge for when she woke up! She still doesn’t have any teeth but she’s working really hard on them. I think the bottom ones are close. She won’t let me near her mouth but if I get her to laugh out loud I can see something different down there in her gums. Jake was nowhere near this bad, in fact he was easy with the teething and had his first tooth around 5 months old.

Anyhow, hopefully the teething will get better soon, she’s just not all that happy right now because of it. Although we just spent 20 minutes blowing raspberries at each other from across the room only for me to realize I got my laptop screen all wet! Yuck!

  1. I can almost smell those stinky little cheese feet. I love how you put ‘PU!’

    Myra,
I really need to get a better camera to take the closeups! Your stuff is so awesome and I know most of it is the photographer, but some of it has to be the camera, right? I have a $90 camera….

VW Bug, my daughter spits up so much she doesn’t have any parts without gunk lurking!!!!!

  4. Kim says:

Heather, I’m going to have to try the frozen apple. She loves blueberries and we’ve been giving her those but she prefer the juice and waits for it to thaw!

I miss fat little baby toes. I used to photograph Jake’s all the time. Enjoy them while they’re pudgy!

  6. Ren says:

Oh, if only spit could be currency. LOL. All new mommies would be rich!

I love baby toes… but if I’m to get near a baby, I prefer the back of the neck. Where usually there is no slobber or other items lurking. ;-)

So cute! When I ask Hannah where her piggies are she points at her toes and goes “izzizz” it’s so funny! She’s a really bad teether too (we’re talkin 3 weeks per tooth) so I feel your pain mama! When her first teeth were popping through she loved a chunk of frozen apple in a mesh feeder. It really helped.
