Even the most “ungirly” of us go ga-ga over dolls and anything pink when we have a daughter. I admit that even I have succommed to call of all that is frilly and lacey and pink. I don’t really remember playing with dolls when I was very small but one thing I have noticed as the parent of a daughter is that little girls are drawn to dolls. My daughter calls them “babies” and will hold her arms out and whine to hold one. Dolls today have all sorts of fancy accessories. They pee. They talk. They burp. They giggle. They have high chairs made for them, strollers, and all sorts of other stuff made out of hard plastic. Adorable Kinders are 100% soft cloth “rag dolls” that are designed to be durable yet completely huggable. These soft dolls are made in the USA and the stuffing is made from non-allergic 100% polyester. And they are washable! The Adorable Kinders are 18″ tall and have yarn hair. Their clothing, like the dolls is washable and interchangeable so any of the dolls can wear any of the outfits. They are designed to be safe for ages 3 and up.
The fundamental theme of the Adorable Kinders collection is an active group of kindergarten friends. Each student has been designed with a different personality in mind.
The name of each character begins with a unique letter from the English alphabet. ‘A’ is Alise, ‘B’ is Brittany, ‘C’ is Christy, and so on.
Each doll comes with an internet key-code that may be used to register online at the “Adorable Kinders eSchool”. There children can play educational games that make learning fun (Preschool and grades K-6). When all of the games for a grade level are successfully completed, the child graduates to the next grade.
I was offered the opportunity to select an Adorable Kinders doll to write about and it was not easy. There are 26 Adorable Kinders in their catalog (one for each letter of the alphabet) and each one is so different and unique that I just could not choose. In the end they sent me Vianca and I think she is the perfect choice for Abby, since Vianca really does look a lot like her.
I was struck by the quality and size of the doll right off the bat. She is soft (but not floppy) and totally huggable. She can be played with and slept with comfortably and she seems to have a personality – and big blue eyes just like Abby. Her jammies are flannel and her fuzzy slippers are just adorable and stay on with elastic. I really think that Vianca is a friend that Abby will have for a long time, and who knows, maybe she will even pass on to the next generation. You can purchase Adorable Kinders on their website, and not just the dolls, but extra shoes and clothing too. Each doll comes with an outfit as shown, shoes, a name tag, and an internet key-code to join the educational online Adorable Kinders eSchool. Some dolls come with a teddy bear accessory as well. And the best part is, they even have BOY dolls, which I think is really cool.
If you like what you see, I have good news. We have a giveaway! One winner will get to pick an Adorable Kinder fr0m their catalog! What an awesome Christmas gift this would make.
