Ad.ly – make money from your Twitter Tweets

This morning I read in the John Chow newsletter, about another ad network that is using Twitter to help you earn money online.  It is called Ad.ly and recently John made $1,000 FROM A SINGLE TWEET.  Now none of us are John Chow or have the huge following and reputation he does (or make as much money), but even if you can make $5 per Tweet, as John explains it, that is equivalent to making $300/hour because it takes a minute or less to write a Tweet.

All you need to sign up is a Twitter account that is at least 120 days old (4 months) and at least 50 followers.

If you are concerned over “spamming” your followers with ads, I follow plenty of people who participate in paid Tweets and so long as it is not the ONLY thing they are Tweeting, it doesn’t bother me at all.

I just signed up today so I can’t testify to the types of ads or provide any information about the service other than letting you know it exists, but once I’ve been with them awhile, I’ll update this post.
