This morning after my daughter had her bottle, I took her into her room to change her as I usually do. I’ve been changing her on the floor because of her propensity to roll and me not wanting to report an Accidental Mommy Moment that involves physical injury because she fell off the table.
Usually when I change her, I can distract her with a toy and she isn’t too squirmy but today she was just all over the place! I managed to get her offensively stinky diaper changed without incident and then went to get her dressed. I pulled out a one-piece outfit thingy that had originally been my son’s and began to struggle to get it on her. She wanted nothing to do with getting dressed, but after losing a handful of hair, getting poked in the eye and having my left arm slimed in the struggle, I finally came out victorious.
Until I realized I put the thing on backwards.

Its hard to see from the pictures but there is a seam going down the front and the neck part in the front goes all the way up to under her chin. It’s not super obvious that it is on backwards, but I bet any mom could tell!

Wow she is such a cutie! It’s still a win – clothes are on!
now THIS is why I just love your blog.YOU completely remind me of myself. I’ve done this many of times. That and I also have put shoes on the wrong feet!
Funny you should mention this b/c I am so frazzled lately that I put my shirt on inside out AND backwards today….and went to the mall. ACK!
That is too funny! And I have to agree with the others…such a cutie!!
Oh you had me laughing with your final note. Not to worry its all part of the trials and errors that we all have endured. Just love that tie dyed outfit – tooo cute. AND your daughter just precious.
I have done that before! I left you an award over on my page if you would like to go and take a look. :)
She is so cute! I’m sure she doesn’t really care what side she gets all wet and messy !
Priceless! And mygawsh, she’s cute!! You must kiss those cheeks a thousand times a day, and who could blame you!
:D
Oh, since that happens in my house when the Hubs dresses the baby or any of the kidlets dress themselves, I’d just figure you fit in around here! lol
