What’s That Smell? began as the journey through motherhood and beyond of me (Kim) and my friend Lori. Together we called ourselves “Accidental Mommies” because we never thought we fit the mold.
Our motto in starting this site was:
“An ‘Accidental Mommy’ is a mommy who never thought she was mommy material but has learned through poop, spit-up and tears that she has what it takes”

Now, Lori is busy with real life so I’ve pretty much taken over the blog 100%.
I write about my 2 children, sharing stories, achievement and photos from our lives, but I also aim to be a resource for moms and bloggers with tips, advice, recipes, local and national activities and health & fitness topics.
For some levity, because all moms need a laugh or a distraction, I share celebrity news, pop culture topics and current events as well. There is always something interesting going on around here!
