A Week of Magic
We’re finally getting back into the swing of normal life, and quite honestly, I don’t like it! We spent a fantastic week at Disney World, and I want to go back on vacation. I don’t want to mess with schedules, laundry, cleaning, or homeschooling. Whaaaaaaaaa.
We could not have asked for better weather; 75-80 degrees, clear and sunny. It only rained once, for about 20 minutes, and we were inside eating. I won’t bore you with showing all 360 pictures (don’t you just love digital?), but here are some of my favorites.

This is one of my favorite pictures of our week. Simply because, not only is it terribly cute, but the hat was always at that angle. It just made me smile every time I looked at Madeline.

Olivia fell in love with Mickey Mouse, and wore her ears all the time.

Don and Michael waiting for the train.

This guy made up an impromptu song about our family. My mom told him the kids names and where we were from, and he just started singing.

We spent one afternoon riding the monorail to the Polynesian Resort, where the kids played on the beach while we had fruity alcoholic drinks. This was Olivia’s second attempt at getting into the hammock; or, as Madeline called it, a ham hock. Olivia’s first try ended up with her on the ground.

Kimmy, this picture is just for you. Not everyone can pull off this color combination. The picture’s color doesn’t do it justice. Don has wanted this outfit (actually he wants it in a suit) since I first met him. Speaking of people watching, want to know the best way to make a thirty minute wait go quickly? We were behind three young hotties that had very obviously had breast augmentation, and wore clothes to accentuate this. I had the best time watching guys checking them out with varying degrees of obviousness. They ran the gamut from trying to not look, to a quick glance and smile, to looking absolutely mesmerized. I guess I’m not the only one easily amused.
I’ll be posting later this week with some advice if you’re planning on going to Disney.

Thanks, everyone!! I can’t begin to describe how much fun we had!
I went to Disney last June with my extended family. We had an awesome time! I can’t wait to go back. We went to Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. It was great to visit all of them since each park was so different & such an unique experience.
Awesome! Looks like you all had a blast!
With that new special they’re running for military, we hope to finally do Disney ourselves. I’d love any advice you can offer :)

What an awesome time! From the family fun, to the people watching, perfect weather and people who seriously need Stacy & Clinton to step in and help them with their fashion emergencies.. a excellent vacation, indeed. Love the picture of Madeline with her tilted ears. :o)

Awesome. Wish we could have been there at the same time. It was great before Christmas as well.
