A parent’s worst nightmare…

A friend and fellow blogger, Shellie, has experienced tonight what no parent is prepared for – the loss of her two year old son in a drowning accident.

I’m numb for her…I cannot imagine the pain her family is experiencing right now.

Trisha is organizing a way for everyone to send her support through cards, flowers, donations, etc.

go here: Please Pray for Shellie

Me, I turn to music for comfort, and in this case “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan (I’m the one whose voice is cracking trying to hold back tears).

Shellie, I hope you and your family can find some comfort tonight knowing your baby is in the arms of angels……

How devastating. My prayers are with the family.

A few years ago, I almost lost my daughter when she went into a 9′ pool and didn’t know how to swim. I can’t even imagine how I could deal with losing her.
