A parent’s worst nightmare…

A friend and fellow blogger, Shellie, has experienced tonight what no parent is prepared for – the loss of her two year old son in a drowning accident.

I’m numb for her…I cannot imagine the pain her family is experiencing right now.

Trisha is organizing a way for everyone to send her support through cards, flowers, donations, etc.

go here: Please Pray for Shellie

Me, I turn to music for comfort, and in this case “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan (I’m the one whose voice is cracking trying to hold back tears).

Shellie, I hope you and your family can find some comfort tonight knowing your baby is in the arms of angels……

  1. Kim,
What a lovely tribute. As a mother, blogger, and member of the military family, I cannot imagine how Shellie & her family are going on… They are in my thoughts and prayers.
God be with them now, and in the very difficult days ahead.

I wish I could get into the site but but keep getting Forbidden, wanted to send something to her (probably over that stupid drama I wasn’t a part of but is neither here nor there or the time)

My heart breaks for her and her family!! I wish people on twitter would leave her alone, it’s already hard enough she doesn’t need them being cruel too.
