We’re starting a new weekly series here at “What’s That Smell?” that I’ve titled “A Blurb About A Blog”. Each week (likely on a Thursday because that’s when I happen to be starting this) we will be writing a few sentences about a blog that we like in order to introduce you to some of the other fantastic bloggers out there. They might be bloggers we admire, those that inspire us, or those that simply have a cool design. In short, any blog that has piqued our interest for one reason or another.
If you would like to suggest a blog for us to include, please contact us using the contact button at the top of our site and we will do our best to include your site.
Selecting the first site that you choose for something like this is a difficult process. Mainly because I don’t want any of the other wonderful bloggers out there to feel disappointed that they weren’t chosen first, especially my many new friends. Please know that just because I chose one blog to be the first one featured, it doesn’t mean that you are not all first in my book!

Sassy, the author of The Sassy Southerner is witty, honest and a great communicator. Her blog is full of personal anecdotes that I relate to very well and she always personally responds to the comments I leave. Her humor and plain old brutal honesty in her posts inspires me to put more of myself into my writing and posting.
