9 Years.

So yes.

I forgot.

Today is our 9 year Wedding Anniversary and I didn’t remember until my husband reminded me last night.  In my defense, he didn’t remember until right before he mentioned it to me so we both failed miserably.

Below is a fuzzy photo that I probably posted last year too because I’m too lazy to scan any of the other ones into the computer!

I got drunk in the limo on the way to our reception.  I drank at least half the bottle of champagne and I am not a big drinker so that was more than enough.  I think that is what helped me not be too bothered by the fact that the Best Man’s wife wouldn’t let him dance with the Maid of Honor during the part where the wedding party danced together.  Idiot.  They’re divorced now.  Didn’t see that one coming…

Next year for the BIG 10th we will take a nice little trip.  We need and deserve a vacation!  And a bottle of that champagne we are drinking in the limo would be nice too.

And to celebrate our anniversary today I get to go visit my Mom in the hospital. She was admitted this morning with acute appendicitis and is waiting for surgery. I guess dinner in a hospital cafeteria is still more exciting than dinner at home on your anniversary!
