Honey KixWe eat a lot of cereal around here. It is basically what I eat for breakfast and what my daughter snacks on all day. Usually our cereal of choice for her is Cheerios but I really think she was getting tired of them.

So, lucky for us, we got a great package from General Mills the other day! We received, among others things, a box of Honey Kix! Honey Kix has all the goodness of original Kix cereal but now has a touch of honey! Honey Kix is a good source of fiber, calcium and vitamin D, contains 16 grams of whole grain per serving (at least 48 grams recommended daily) and has no artificial flavors or preservatives. It also has only 6 grams of sugar per serving!

Kix

I do think Abby likes the Honey Kix better and I thought they tasted pretty good too. They taste like Kix but a little sweeter and the pieces seem a little smaller to me but it’s a long time since we’d had the regular Kix so I can’t be positive about that. Overall, I am sure we will be purchasing these again. As a mom of a toddler, I like to be able to provide something not messy as a snack and still make sure she gets some good nutrition from it. Honey Kix fits the bill because the taste good too!

Along with the cereal, we received an adorable honey jar, a set of plastic Honey Kix cereal bowls, a clever portable container to take your cereal and milk on-the-go, and a cool tall container to keep cereal fresh at home. And General Mills is giving me the opportunity to send 3 of you the same prize pack!
