It’s Not Pink, It’s Light Red!

I’ve mentioned before that we recently painted my daughter’s room, and that we painted it pink…pink on pink.

Here are a couple of photos, we love the way it turned out!

Guess who got stuck doing the taping?

Yes, even the ceiling fan is pink, er…I mean light red!

(By the way, the whole room isn’t striped, just that one wall)

Kim, my 13 year old loves her room. She’s a big “light red” fan.

Nice work! Now, is the term ’stuck’ or is it ‘took over because it has to be precise’? hehehehe

    Sassy, good to know!

    Michele, thank you!

Lori, HAHA. It’s funny but Ed was the one being the perfectionist with the paint. I was just happy that it was no longer dirty and unpainted!

I found you on Mom.com and wanted to tell you i love the stripes. I love stripes in general and this is extra cute (I am sure a pain in the behind to paint but cute!)

Thanks Nicole and thanks for stopping by and commenting!

The painting wasn’t too bad because you paint the whole wall the light color and then do the dark stripes on top. The taping is really the hard part!
